okay I'm back from Oregon
Lost a few important things on the way, most importantly my drivers license (anyone who knows R in person please ask him to call me) as well as the fact that I found my bag of valuable jewelery which I compiled before I left for UZ, only to find that the most valuable piece is missing.
Speaking of UZ, all the militant actions and suicide bombings have me rather frightened - and I don't know which is scarier - the terrorism itself, or the way I know that the UZ government and police will "deal" with it.
Seeing my brother was very good - I actually like him and love him (of course, he's my brother) despite our very different characters. Also I've started realizing what a different set of parents he experienced than I did - so much of that is related to gender and birth order.....
