Yeah the whole business about making sex about violence and pain, reinforcing the idea that women don't want sex ever but men always do, that we are 'dirty' down there.......ugh. It's nice to see our tax dollars hard at work :(

The extra funny thing is that abstinence programs are proven not to work. Teenagers are hormone-carbonated and are going to have sex. Maybe not all of them, but some of them (most of them I'd say). These programs will just make them too scared to protect themselves and then too scared to tell anyone and get prenatal care when they get knocked up.
