Yay, R and I both have beautiful teeth. R had the last of his major dental work done today and his teeth look great. He's going back sometime next week to double check everything and to restore his front tooth. I went in for a cleaning today (it cost a whopping $5.50), and they said that I have no cavities or "stones" in my gums. It was nice to hear since I haven't been to a dentist in 3 years.

Hurray for cheap dental care. Hopefully this will serve R and I well for the next decade or so.

The mom in me sez.... AAAAHHH! No! Once a year cleanings, even from a cheap stateside clinic is better than nothing!

yes yes mom, 1ce a year cleanings are in the plan. Dozens of fillings and craziness are not.

I have insurance that makes cleanings free for both of us (well not exactly free when you consider what I have to pay to add R to my insurance), but still we can go in and get cleanings free. It is the $90 a pop fillings (not to mention root canals, bridges, etc) that I'm hoping to avoid by doing this here and now.
