Hey, I meant to reply to your comment the other day, but I've been positively slammed with work. I'd love to get together for lunch or tea or something after the hell that is my work life mellows out (i.e. after the big show in January). I suspect it would be good to sit and chat with you.

That is a great quote. Faith has gotten me through so many darkened hours in my life. Hell, it got me through my whole first YEAR of teaching. If I didn't *believe* in bodhisattvahood, I just don't think I could find the strength to do many of the things I do in my life. It's the motivation to benefit others and the absolute conviction that that *means* something that gives me strength.

I agree - these past few months have really been teaching me that sometimes courage and tenacity isn't enough to persevere - faith is a necessary part of it.
