dutar solutions

sasha_khan, do you have a lead on a dutar repairman for me yet?
Also, I'm, realizing that with interviews coming up I need to come up with a better solution for travelling with my dutar. I'd love a hard case, but I just don't see that happening, so I'd like to find a soft case that is a little more sturdy than the cloth bags they use in Central Asia. I know my mentor from London uses her son's quarter sized soft cello case with laundry padding to travel. I also wonder if some of the persian shops in Westwood (aka Tehrangeles) would have something workable for a saz or something.
I have a couple (busy) weeks to sort this out, but I don't want to let it slip through the cracks and then end up busting a second dutar this year.
