Bonny Doon is burning, I see the smoke and heard the firetrucks roll by my apartment this afternoon.

UCSC is not burning, nor is it threatened.

This is the 2nd fire in my vicinity in a month, and it is only early June. God help us in late summer and early fall when the REAL fire season starts.

Global climate change anyone?
