A while ago I went to a knitting convention with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kethryvis and splurged on some lace weight 70% merino wool/30% possum yarn (that's right -- possum). It has been the most pleasant thing that I have ever knit with and gave me a chance to try a new lace stitch -- vine stitch.
My new awesome possum scarf is blocking on a towel on my living room floor and it makes me squee with joy to see a project this fun to the very end. Even my cats are being reverent (so far) and going around it.
I've already ordered more possum yarn....I'm such a dork.
