wow, the American Pediatric Association recommends that children under 2 not be allowed to watch TV at all.

And a study just said that TV viewing in ages 1-3 contributes greatly to behavioral problems by age 7.

Doomed, we're all doomed.

I saw this as well. I was totally into it. My parents didn't let me and my brother watch TV when we were little, for purely intuitive reasons. And even when we got older, they didn't let us watch more than 2 hours... up to when we were in high school or something. None of that afternoon cartoons BULLSHITE. This goes hand in hand with their refusal to buy us video gaming units of any sort as well. In the end, I definitely think my brother and I are the better for it. I know that I CERTAINLY don't plan on letting my kids (if I have any) watch the tele before age 2. Maybe on up to age 5. There are just better things to do. my $0.02.
