stupid brain
Oh man somehow this long 4-day weekend slipped away from me.
I was defintely supposed to practice the dutar more and feel more prepared for this extra lecture I'm giving tomorrow in Prof. H's class.
I'm teaching my own class from 9-11 and then giving my guest lecture from 11-1. That is a lot of talking all in a row - aside from substitute teaching (which didn't involve much planning or nearly as much lecture) I don't think I've ever stood up in front of a class for four hours at a stretch - it should be interesting. I wish I felt more prepared going in to this, but oh well.
Really though, I know I talk for 1 hour perfectly well about UZ music - two hours shouldn't be that much of a stretch. I think I'm just nervous because this is getting video taped so I can have a teaching video for job applications.
I MUST remember that if I bomb this, I can always video tape a different class and use that instead, so there isn't actually any pressure on me besides the pressure I'm inventing in my stupid monkey brain.
