note to self

Somehow I've managed to actually loose core strength in the past month - that's all kinds of no good!

I need more sleep, more vegetables, more exercize, and less sodium.

To add insult to the injury that was aerobics tonight, when I was chatting with Prof. H. about the workshop we're running tomorrow she actually told me "you're not getting any younger." She went on to remind me that I should watch the schedule I keep, especially since I may have campus interviews that will need to be in top form for *hopes*. We were both laughing sardonically when she made the comment, but there's a lot of truth to it - the next few months are far too important for me to cock it up because I want a social life. And, frankly, I'm not an invincible 19 year old anymore.

How do people make it through grad school/the job market at 40? It must be insane.

Nope

I think at some point you just do it. I work out three times a week (if I'm not injured) and work basically two jobs. But I also am planning to go to grad school (hopefully fall this year). There is no thought as to how I'm going to do it. Just that I've got to do it. So maybe determination gets you through.
