wow that midterm was special - they let us use dictionaries and stuff, so I guess it is kind of fair, but to throw a bunch of things that we are unpracticed on at us and call it an exam strikes me as not really functioning as it should. Exams are supposed to test how well you've absorbed the material given to you and how well you can use it. I really dont think this test did that - good thing I don't really need to worry about it.

I feel like I've done really poorly and I feel very habitual guilt pangs which I am trying to squelch. This is about my progress with the uzbek language and nothing else. (really - other people's mark of approval and praise is not what I'm in it for - really really, so why am I still feeling guilt?)
