I am so glad that I don't take birth control pills. It seems as though they are always finding new kinds and brands of hormonal birth control that are *supposed* to be safer and end up having the same problems or worse. The latest frightening study is on Yaz and Yasmin, the BCP that I saw marketed all over Tashkent in the early 2000s as a cure for acne and menstrual cramps:
