I can't believe it's already wednesday. This weekend was lovely I went to my friend J's wedding - it was so posh it didn't even have to be pretensious. It was lovely to see my rock star friend K from highschool (and while I was in NYC), and I got to spend Saturday with my smug married friends A and L from my Peabody days. I love them all so much and it was great to see J so happy and beautiful. But I am still exhausted!
The super good news is that I got bumped off of my flight home and got a cool Southwest voucher - southwest gives you a redeemable dollar value instead of a free trip, so I was able to book 2 round trip tix to and from the bay area for me and the new boy - 1 for him to come down the weekend after school ends and one for me to go up July 4th weekend. Plus I have $23 left to use whenever.
I have many many deadlines this week - a paper tomorrow in Feminism and Multiculturalism, and a conference to give my as of yet unwritten TATU paper at on Saturday.....I am a cranky and over worked bunny. Plus I am stuck at work and not as busy as I should be. Hopefully bosslady will let me go when she gets back from lunch. Then I will get cheap-o india sweets and spices dal and chai as brain food.
