So part of my duties as Hollywood Bowl Orchestra intern is to be coffee girl. Well I volunteer for this one since it allows me a little bit of walk in the cloud shine.
But the closest coffee hut is Starbucks (booo hissss, I know). Anyway, so one of the women in the office gives me this list of words which, for the most part, I understand individually, but I have no idea how they apply to coffee. They are:
Iced venti nonfat easy mocha.
This apparently means that you take a mocha (coffee, milk, and chocolate syrup) and put it over ice, in the largest cup, and don't go overboard with the chocolate syrup. I asked the man for a large cafe au lait, and he told me it was a "misto" (which is incidently, not listed on the price board). So I got a venti misto for myself (see I'm learning) and went back to work.
