yikes - R called last night mentioning that there my u-grad institution isn't accepting his power of attourney to request my transcripts. Apparently the privacy act or something is a major lawsuit threat, so when I emailed them saying R would be sending a request on my behalf becuase Im in Uzbekistan they convened a legal council and decided the power of attourney document didn't apply to transcipt requests. now I have to find some way to fax my request from here. This will be no small amount of money or hassle.
