Wow, BBC news ticker just posted that a plane crashed right outside of Tashkent - it is reporting from a Russian news agency, but doesn't say what plane, from where or the region in which it crashed. It makes me very nervous and grateful that I am back home.

I am on campus and was at the ungodly hour of 9 AM - and I've started sniffling. Looks like R's cold is closing in on me and I am not pleased.
