wooty woot woot woot!

I just finished the last of my translation - my CV - and yes my conference paper titles sound even stupider in Russian.

But I'm done. All I'm waiting for is my proposal to come back from Marina, my friendly Russian spell checker and I can put it in super-speedy mail to Washington.

Heh - D just took my pulses and exclaimed "You're grant is mailed in, why are you still wirey??"

I guess stress is my constant. Come to think of it - it is - I have to deal with TAing tomorrow and peripheries class and I need to have something to show Prof. Leguin for my baroque syllabus.

I told D that maybe my stress will end in June of 2006.

oh and did I mention that my grant was 2 - TWO pounds of paper! I had to submit 6 copies of everything and everything in English and Everything in Russian so it was a feat of strength and voodoo to get it in the Fed Ex envelope. Then the lady at the counter puts it on the scale and writes 2 lbs on the little weight thingy - crazy! of course I think they measure in half pound increments, but that is still a lot of paper.
