Aug. 29th, 2004 12:42 pmyay! we have visas in our sweaty little palms! I picked them up at the post office yesterday morning before starting the mad wedding reception and post reception cook out events.
My friend D flew in from England to attend and I had friends from Chicago, New York, Maryland. It was really a lovely time. The reception was beautiful even if the DJ was kind of a flop. It was too hot and early for dancing anyways.
The cook out afterwards was a hoot. My little bro's friend's band played and we had wings and pizza and smores. I got to make D his first smore ever - it was really neat.
Both R and I are exhausted and haven't even opened our presents, but I think it's nap time first.
