Sep. 7th, 2004 12:04 amOnce again, life has been very busy and chaotic. Lil bro ended up going to the emergency room for 3 stitches in his 4th tow after kicking a candle stand in the basement while playing with a hacky sack.
I ended up entertaining the gaggle of his friends during his 3 hour absense. It was good. We played video games and apples to apples. Nice to know I can still relate to highschool kids. I love injecting a little femminist rhetoric into the mix. The boys groan but I can tell that the girls take to it. One of the guys is fairly political in my kind of direction - it makes for nice banter with those who are indoctrinated into Western PA republicanism.
R and I leave for 10 days in New England tomorrow. First stop is Rhode Island to visit the lovely![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rahvina, Sarisa, and Bahamut. Then we head to Maine for a visit with an aunt and my grandmother. We'll spend 5 or so days in the cottage for a quasi honeymoon and lots of wading in the ocean, then we'll head to VT to visit my other grandparents and hopefully see the Ben and Jerry's factory tour. We'll head to NYC via woodstock, see my grandmother's grave and a bunch of folks in NY. Hope to be home around the 18th or 19th for all kinds of preparations.
