(no subject)

Okay - today I will get this darned paper translated. Or at least most of it. I can call on of the daughters this morning and have her help me. It is only 5 little pages. It will be a short little talk and is not meant to blow any minds. I hope I can get a rough version hammered out so that I can get it to my friend the Uzbek academic language specialist in time for her to read it before I have to give the paper which will happen either on Thursday or on Friday.

After the conference it is all about the first chapter and nothing else. Introductory chapters should be easy, no? This is the big step, the little beginning of the big dissertation. Let's just hope it is decent enough to get me a grant.
