Feb. 15th, 2005 07:07 amWell this was certainly a humdinger of a valentines day....
R has got the evil flu that has been circulating. We saw too many people on Sunday who were feeling under the weather. The poor guy's immune system couldn't hold out. So in the morning I figured I'd cook instead of going out for dinner, which worked out fine, except R wasn't really hungry. I also went to get a cheesy romantic comedy from the embassy. Which sounded like a great plan, but the DVD just won't play on my 'puter. Alas. After the failed movie watching attempt, we put in Harry Potter for about an hour and went to bed at 8:30. Of course R has had the chills so badly that I couldn't get much sleep. I think his fever finally broke at somepoint during the night. Also, I was sleeping really lightly, worrying that I'd sleep through my first Tajik lesson which is at 8 AM this morning.
grrr argh.
