(no subject)

today made me realize why I am doing this. Today just worked. I had a great lesson, an interview with the director of the music college, recorded two of Malika opa's students, and caught a long rant of Malika opas on tape. After our lesson Malika opa and I walked along in the sun and stopped in a cafe for a gamburger (kind of like schwarma). I loved having some non-teaching time with Malika opa and we got to talk alot about things. Her main themes were being grateful for the time we have on this earth and balancing work and play. It was a really pleasant time. Then I came home and played Samoi Dugox with R.

I really needed today.
