(no subject)

I haven't updated in a while - things have been really busy with rehearsals and lessons and interviews and general craziness. The good news is that we got the letter of invite that we need for a Tajik visa, so the last week in June we will be heading to Dushanbe. Yay!

Classes are almost over (but not lessons for me), so I need to figure out which of my dissertation chapters I'm going to write while I'm here. I'm leaning toward either popular music or my outline of the Uzbek trad. canon.....I guess I could start bits of both.
