Sep. 17th, 2005 08:59 amI really haven't felt like updating much lately, I think I've just been overwhelmed.
Still no computer - the broken corporate structure and incompetance at Best Buy is truly staggering.
But at least SBC finally got it together and I'm now using my old computer to get on the internets since our DSL modem arrived a few days ago.
Went to LA and back - it was really lovely. Got to see lots of people that I love dearly and recharge my emotional batteries as well as get a fire lit under me about work/career stuff.
Still don't have housing for the conference in Boston in 2 weeks, and not sure what to do about it - have one 'maybe' offer from a friend of Nisaa's. I swear that when I left the country last year I had a dozen cousins and a couple of friends living in the boston area, but they all seem to have moved in the last year.
