oh the joys of subbing

I got a call for a music teaching job today that sounded like it was going to be a middle school ED job, since that was the description of 1st period. WRONG! I'm subbing at a school for people with a wide variety of handicapped conditions, and have so little clue it isn't even funny. The classes with no video machines in them have been rough - I've been leading sing alongs with kids who are unable to sing along...
That said, I'm so glad that these kinds of schools exist - I'm so impressed with the kind of care that they get here.
