ritual pain

It's time to start thinking of tattoo design again, as I like to meet ritual pain with ritual pain.

I've gone with knot-work designs so far, and really like them, but I feel like I need a change. I want a lower back tat and don't want anything binding since I'll be trying to be as open and fertile as possible come this fall.

I'm thinking the 3 phases of the moon with something nifty and possibly fertility oriented on the face of the full moon - anyone got any ideas?

I think I'm going to make an appointment to give blood after my defense, since my neighbor up here is a tattoo artist and has offered to do this one for me, so it won't be happening right after like with my qualifying exams.

So yeah, input would be greatly apprecaited as my creative juices are needed elsewhere :)
