hello from Seoul!
Aug. 6th, 2008 04:19 pmI am using my friend Y's internet in Seoul. It is very humid here, but I am so happy to see her after a year.
The Bosnian took me to the airport and was a total sweetheart, staying with me til the very last moment and waving goodbye to me as I passed through the metal detectors.
My flight from LAX to Incheon was fine, except that I checked in late enough to get a middle seat, so I was squashed and didn't manage to sleep more than 2 consecutive hours.
The 2 men I was squashed between were the boxing coaches for the Virgin Islands Olympic Team on their way to Beijing. At least I got some interesting stories out of my squashedness.
