LOL! My mom taught music at my HS (a grrls catholic school liberated by Vatican II) and decided that some rock albums would help her reach her students. After asking around, her first album was Workingman's Dead. The 16 yr old me thought it was pretty funny. As a singer my mom thought Joni Mitchell screeched and couldn't get past Procul Harem's 'vestal virgins' lyrics to appreciate the music.
