baby blanket!

merchimerchI just finished my knitting project that I'm going to give to my yoga teacher, Roxanne, who is having a baby very soon. (Now back to my original knitting project for the year, a very time-consuming and slow going wrap in silk-wool blended yarn.)
The fabric for the trim is a remainder from Hart's Fabric of cotton flannel with colorful sheep on clouds and I think it's adorable. The yarn itself is heavy weight cream colored velour knit with size 9 needles in basket stitch.
