okay tick one thing more thing off the UZ list: I got an email this morning that my IRB exemption request passed. I no longer have to worry about Human Subjects clearance.

So the list is:
Get IRB Clearance (check)
Get visa (waiting......)
Get money for plane tickets and insurance from Fulbright (check)
Get plane tickets (after the visa)
Get insurance (after the plane tickets)
Inform embassy and the people I'm staying with until I arrive in UZ when I'm coming in (after all the everything)
