merchimerchSo we're going to samarkand this weekend and I have no idea what kind of clothes to bring becuase the fricking weather keeps changing.
We finally got a "washing machine" yesterday, but it seems to be malfunctioning - R has jerry rigged something so it kind of works, but we've called the landlord again. By washing machine, don't think maytag - this is a machine that you fill with water yourself and the it swirls the clothes around, then you take the wet clothes out and put it in the spinny contraption and it spins things so they dry quicker when you hang them up. I'm so happy - it beats the crap out of hand washing everything.
Trying to get tickets to a pop concert for Christmas eve, it looks like its sold out already, so I had to call in my connections.
more later, I'm woefully unprepared for today's lesson.
