As if the fact that I wasn't ultra productive today wasn't bad enough, I just got a little surprise email from my Uzbek/Islamic Lit. of Central Asia professor. I'm taking the final early so I can leave town. He told me he's going to give me an oral exam that is cumulative, instead of the short answer non-cumulative version for everyone else. I know I am in for good old school Soviet style fun and I am really not looking forward. On the one hand I know that I am almost guaranteed to ace the class because I know the material at least a little bit and am comfortable talking about it. However, I know what he will want from me as far as memorization and dates and all manner of central asia trivia stuffed into my brain.
Oh well, I suppose it could be worse, at least I get to do the exam in english....
