Mar. 2nd, 2004 07:02 pmSo my "give a lecture on the part of your syllabus that you know or like the least" lecture about Schubert lieder went pretty well. Prof. T was encouraging, and gave me constructive criticism. I am not completely looking forward to producing this syllabus - its going to be huge - but as opposed to my exams, at least I have a textbook to follow and outline.
I then had a meeting with my Teaching with Technology coordinator - it was fine, he looked over my syllabus and said it was okay. I'm realizing that this quarter is all about syllabi - I'm creating a syllabus for my teaching with tech class next quarter, a syllabus and all the stuff to go with it for my World Music/Music Appreciation seminar with Prof. T, and then there are the 2 exams I hope to finish by the end of the quarter, my baroque syllabus exam with Prof. E and my Music of the Silk Roads syllabus with Prof. H. I'm just so pedagogically oriented at the mo....its almost like I'm prepping for a job at a teaching university.
