Argh I've been foiled by Uzbek spontaneous scheduling/cancellation again. I'm not even that suprised. So R's friend and his wife will not be coming over for lunch today, they need to go to Samarkand for the day. The high occurance of flakiness here makes California look like the land of the staid and responsible.
