battlestar
Dec. 2nd, 2006 08:49 amCan I just say OMG Battlestar Galactica was AWESOME last night! The whole fight to work out a gamut of emotions/conflicts hit home with me from my martial arts past.
The use of flashback was really lovely, and I appreciated getting some of the rest of the story (though I realize I have more holes than most because I haven't seen the 2nd season).
I'm also disappointed that Starbuck hasn't ever climbed into bed with one of the many hots chicks on the show. How in the hell is she not at least a little oriented that way - her character is SUCH a dyke! (I swear I dated her character in college) While watching Season 1 I really wanted her to at least have a fling with Callie who is now married to Chief Tyrol. Hey you producer-types - it's a frickin warship! I don't care if the future of the species depends on making babies, in close quarters, boys will play together and so will girls, even if they still get down to the business of insuring the survival of the species eventually.
