(no subject)

I'm so disappointed! I just learned that the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park here in Santa Cruz is NOT named after the composer (who I believe also lived on the West Coast). Instead it was named after some limestone miner/businessman. *sigh* I suppose composers are rarely rich and philanthropic enough to have big parks named after them.
