Lincoln's words seem so apt as we face Bush's last day in office and the task of healing so many wounds around the world and in our nation. I realize that many will be quoting MLK's dream speech today, but as I'm looking at the future, I still go back to my favorite of his quotes:
"Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase."

I really hope that the wrongs of the past 8 years (and beyond) can be brought to justice and eventually forgiven.
