1) What is your husband's full name? R/Uzbekaemrys (no I'm not going to tell the world over LJ)
2) When did you get married? June 12, 2004
3) How long were you together beforehand? A little more than a year
4) Where did you meet? Ah the power of the internet!
5) What was your first date like? We met at a cafe, walked on the beach and then I took him home with me
6) Who made the first move? Him, kind of, I think. We were both pretty much gasping for it.
7) What was your proposal like? "hey honey, I got the fulbright!" "okay, so when are we getting married?"
8) How long were you engaged? 3 and half months
9) What were the colors of your wedding? colors? my dress was light blue, the flowers were purple, the grass was green....
10) Who did you have in your wedding? The two fathers stood up with us, I didn't want to play the bridesmaids playing favorites game.
11) Do you still talk to your bridesmaids/groomsmen? Well I still talk to my dad if that counts
12) Where did you go for your honeymoon? We went camping up at Annwfn on our way to Seattle, also got some time up in Maine after our PA reception, and well we've had this year in UZ.
13) How long did you spend there? A couple of days in Annwfn, same in Maine.
14) What did you do? Luxuriated, slept, I think I worried about moving alot.
15) How long have you been married now? almost a year now
16) If over a year, what was the first year like? Exotic - we've been in UZ or Seattle for most of it. I'm pretty happy - you'd have to check with R for his end of the story.
17) Where did you get married? Almond Ave. Park in Livermore, CA
18) How many guests attended? About 50 I think.
19) Was it the wedding of your dreams? I've never opened a bridal magazine, or ever really thought about weddings in that way, but I can't think of how it could have been better - everyone seemed to have a lot of fun.
