merchimerchR and I are now back from the family roadtrip. Yesterday was pretty eventful and involved getting my hand closed in the automatic windows, picking up a nail and having to get our tire fixed, and finding out that Sallie Mae mistakenly thought that I graduated last year, so they IGNORED the form I filed for a fellowship defferment and claim that I am now 100 days delinquent in paying back my student loans.
Ugh.
On the other hand, I had a great time. My 92 year old grandparents are still mentally sharp and remarkably mobile for their years. My brother played a rough game, but bounced back well. I got to see![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rahvina and Sarisa if briefly and we got to play at the pool with my twin cousins. I managed to get my lemon meringue pie at a truck stop yesterday and have a homemade one promised to me by R hopefully sometime this week.
I'm also incredibly grateful for all the support and expertise that R brings to my life. He bolsters me in ways I couldn't have imaginged a year ago (plus not having to deal with flat tires myself is a big plus).
