merchimerchJust in case I ever doubt the value of my hubby, I wanted to put this in my journal. R and I found time to have lunch with professor H. as we were leaving LA on Sunday. It was a really nice lunch and gave R a chance to meet with the prof. who has been so important to me. She emailed me today saying this:
"I was delighted you could manage lunch before you started the long trek back, and it was very nice to meet R properly for the first time. You are unbelievably lucky to have found such a nice, smart, and very supportive person with a good sense of humour."
That's right - unbelievably lucky pretty much sums it up.
Oh, and he's cute too, but professors probably aren't allowed to objectify their students' husbands.
