Here's another good quote I ran across yesterday:

I think I need more of an injection of silly in my life. I do playful pretty well, but I haven't embraced my inner goofball in a while.

In other news, Ch. 5 is in prof. H's hands - that leaves only the 3 partial chapters to finish by June 1. Still a crazy amount of work to be, but it will be worth it when it's over.

I can't help wondering what my emotional life is going to be like when this is over - I've stressed over grad school for years and years - will I be left with a huge gaping stress hole in my psyche?

Yes, if experience is anything to go by. It took me a *while* to get out of student mode when I left grad school. I would say that I lived 1.5 years of "normal" civilian life. Then, I had to go back and put myself in another high stress situation because that's just how I got used to living.

And now, I'm just working on balance.
