Hey - it looks like I get a funny hat ceremony this year after all. Even though I won't file soon enough to do the university-wide funny hat ceremony, I'm invited to the school of arts and architecture ceremony and it happens the Saturday after my defense, when I should still be in town.

So I think I'm going to rent regalia and attend. Maybe I can even file by Friday (if my revisions aren't too scary looking).

I defend at 10 AM on Wed. June 14. The commencement ceremony is Sat the 17th and no pressure, but I'd be really honored if you and S would come - you we're and are such a major support system for me going through this.
