housing angst

Oh the pain! I've been trying to do this in small chunks and forgive myself for not having something lined up, but man it sucks to find housing in LA as a couple. I didn't realize how easy I had it as a single chick. So many of the affordable options, like guesthouses are just too small for two. And R and I just cannot pay $1K a month - there is no way. So demoralizing. The funny thing is that the options that are too small, but look affordable, like guest houses and things were way out of my price range when I was single. I think I have learned that I just can't afford to live in LA, period.

*deep breath*

Something will work out - something has to work out.
