(no subject)

oh man alive I need a library, or at least lots more bookshelves. Many of my books and photocopied articles are stored under my bed in purple and green plastic tubs. I spent the morning digging through all the tubs to fish out every source I possess on the topics of Reconstuctionism, Feminist Theory, and Post Colonialism - I have lots. They are now strewn over my bed which is also home to a bunch of my World Music exam sources because I slacked last night and didn't finish it. Looking at the nest of books and articles that I have littered around my bed it occurs to me 1. that I need more space, 2. that I need more shelving, 3. that I need a filing system whereby all my most important sources are accessible all at once, and 4. that I need my own personal librarian who will reshelve all the stuff I'm not using at the moment and fetch it for me when I need it again.

I'm also concerned that I am missing the 2 CDs that I need to write an article on this summer. I thought they would have turned up in one of the 4 places that I keep CDs in my room, but they didn't. Maybe I put them in a super special secret place so that they would be separate after the last time I used them, which was in March when I gave a lecture. R drove me to give the lecture, maybe I left them in his car? The videos I used at the same lecture are accounted for, as are the instruments I took in with me. I'm very confused and hope they turn up.....

I located one of the 2 missing CDs, the one that can only be replaced from Uzbekistan. I can order/buy the other one if it doesn't turn up - my article/career is saved!
