For some reason the Land's End online catalogue is how I'm stalling on writing SC's midterms, and WOW I really want this:

I haven't had a cashmere sweater since my black one from undergrad gave up the ghost. And yes, I live in CA and don't *need* cashmere, and of course I'm not going to go spend $75 on something like this....but wow - it is exactly what I like in sweaters - the split neck, tunic cut, and no scratchiness. I wish I could justify this purchase, maybe in terms of spending winters in PA, but I think it's too much of a stretch.
*ETA - my folks are sweet - my dad let me know that he's ordered a blue one for me and it should be delivered in a week or so. I am officially a very spoiled daughter.
